Blandy's 10 year old Sercial Madera - Bottle (50 cl)

The driest and lightest Madera. The grape, Esgana Cao, means 'Dog Strangler' because of its aggressive acidity but once fortified it produces delicious, dry palatable flavours. Judges at the International Wine and Spirit Competition said “Dry, bitter almonds. Lovely balancing acidity and hazelnuts on the finish, which is long and satisfying.” 

We think this Madera works brilliantly as an aperitif but it is also excellent with starters, fish and the rich flavours of Indian cuisine
