Curators Choice - Mixed Wine Case (6)

Our Curators have selected three delicious wines (two bottles each of Red, Rosé and White) and presented them in one of our exclusive Ogilvy & More wooden wine boxes.  

• 2 x 2020 Ventoux Les Terres Rouges, Domaine Font Sarade. This vibrantly youthful Ventoux is from an 8 hectare plot of 50 year old vines that the family owns in the village of Aubignan, just south of Beaumes de Venise. The blend is 50% Grenache with 40% Syrah and 10% Carignan, which are destemmed and matured to preserve the vital, raspberry fruitiness of this wine. Mid ruby-purple colour, aromas are perfumed and pure. Palate is full, rich and juicily mouth-filling, with a ripe, bramble-fruited middle, and a satisfyingly rounded finish
• 2 x Domaine de Chevilly La Licorne Rosé Pinot Gris. This delicious, pale rosé from the upper Loire Valley has a dry refreshing and crisp style with restrained fruit notes, hints of white peach, apple, unripe pear and lemon. Our curators simply love it!
• 2 x Domaine de Chevilly Quincy. This cracking white is from the area south east of Tours and south west of Menetou-Salon has aromas of citrus, pepper and floral notes, the palate is fresh, fruity with hints of mineral and balanced acidity. Perfect alternative to Sancerre of Pouilly-Fumé, it's the kind of wine you want to drink on a hot day with equally crisp food (fresh tomato salads, goat's cheese, a bowl of rocket leaves dressed in punchy green olive oil, cold prawns dipped in aioli, chicken breast seared over coals and drizzled with tarragon mayonnaise…)
